About this fragrance
Released in 2002, Series 3 Incense: Avignon by Comme des Garcons is amber, balsamic, warm spicy perfume with woody undertones. Crafted by Bertrand Duchaufour. Evocative of Catholic church incense, intense and distinctive opening of frankincense and myrrh, meditative scent with warm and resinous allure. It opens with aldehydes, chamomile and elemi, transitions through heart notes of ambrette (musk mallow), french labdanum and spices, and settles into a warm base of brazilian rosewood, incense, musk, myrrh, oak moss, olibanum, patchouli, vanilla and virginia cedar.
